Join us at the first-ever Gunji Taiho Jutsu (GTJ) Summer Training Detachment, which is specific to students and instructors of Gunji University who want to change the arresting arts community. This GTJ Training Detachment will be held in Alabama on June 27, 28, and 29, 2025.

Friday, June 27
Evening Meet and Greet
Start the seminar by connecting with fellow practitioners and instructors.  This casual event allows participants to introduce themselves, network, and share experiences.

Q& A Session
Engage in an interactive question-and-answer session with Prof. Tony Pacenski.  This is your chance to ask about techniques, philosophy, and the practical applications of Gunji Taiho Jutsu.

Dinner
Enjoy a meal with all participants, fostering camaraderie and collaboration among those passionate about Martial Arts.

Saturday, June 28
Afternoon Training Session
Dive into hands-on training.  Learn the core techniques of Gunji Taiho Jutsu, focusing on the military arresting techniques.  This practical and analytical session will allow you to work closely with experienced instructors and refine your skills through drills and practice.

Event Seminar
Participate in a seminar outlining the GUnji Taiho Jutsu curriculum.  Discuss the principles and philosophies underpinning the techniques and gain insights into their effectiveness in various scenarios.

Morning Training Session
Continue to build on what you learned on Saturday.  This session will emphasize the two Gunji Taiho Jutsu katas and their significance in connecting the theories, concepts, techniques, and law enforcement scenarios with the framework of Gunji Taiho Jutsu.

Evaluation of Grading
An evaluation will be conducted for those seeking advancement. Participants will showcase their skills and knowledge as assessed by Prof. Tony Pacenski. This is a unique opportunity to receive personalized feedback and guidance.
